The 007 Sean Connery 6-film 4K SteelBook library case is the version of this set I’d steer a collector toward, because the Blu-rays ride along with the 4K discs. It costs more than the US-only box, so is the extra shelf weight worth it?
Quick verdict: buy it if you want all six Connery films on 4K and Blu-ray in one region-free library case. Skip it if you only watch the 4K discs, since the US box is cheaper per film.

What is the 007 Sean Connery 6-film 4K SteelBook library case?
It’s Warner’s 2025 Connery box: Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever, each in its own steelbook. Never Say Never Again is missing, because it isn’t an Eon film. For the game side of 007, see our 007 First Light Collector’s Edition review.
How does this 12-disc version differ from the US 6-disc set?
The Amazon exclusive in the US launched June 10, 2025 at $139.99 with six 4K discs plus digital copies. This version adds a Blu-ray for every film, and it matches the library-case format of our DC Villains steelbook review.
Deff lists it at £132.99, about $176 at the October 15, 2026 rate (checked October 17, 2026). That’s roughly $29 a film, against about $23 for the US box at launch.
What do you get in the box, and how does it hold up?
Six steelbooks stand spine-out in a black case with an oversized 007 graphic, plus a numbered certificate. Amazon lists it at 9 x 9 x 7 inches and 5 pounds. Like the format? Try the Harry Potter 8-film SteelBook collection.
How do the picture, sound and extras look on paper?
The 4K discs carry Dolby Vision and HDR10, and the original mono track is included next to Atmos, so purists aren’t forced into the remix. Every film has a commentary plus MI6 Vault and Mission Dossier extras, and Diamonds Are Forever adds deleted scenes.
I found no answer to one AVForums question: do the Atmos mixes drop dialogue or cues?
Is the 007 Sean Connery 6-film 4K SteelBook worth buying?
Artwork is the argument. A DVD Talk thread from March 2025 called the commissioned art weak, and an AVForums thread compared the Goldfinger design to a fragment of a Japanese poster. Amazon buyers were kinder, 4.5 out of 5 across 421 ratings, though one said the case holds discs loosely and another had two discs stop playing.
- Pros: both formats, original mono, certificate.
- Cons: divisive art, higher cost per film, loose disc hold reported.
Where can you buy this Connery set, and who should?
Our button goes to Deff, which lists this 12-disc edition. If you only watch 4K, the US box or standalone discs make more sense, as in our Superman 5-film steelbook review.
I haven’t unboxed it myself, so this is a read of specs and buyer photos. I’d give it 3.5 out of 5: 4.5 for completeness, 2.5 for artwork.
Our Take
I love the mono track, the Blu-rays and the certificate. The curious bit: the US exclusive shipped with fewer discs than this import. It suits Bond completists and library-case fans, like 80’s Horror does. It plays on 4K UHD and Blu-ray players. Would you buy it, or what did Warner miss? Tell me in the comments.
